Beta Evo 2020 - Rear Shock upgrade?

Hi folks,

I've just bought a Beta Evo 2020 250 and want to upgrade the rear shock.

I've been searching high and low for a Showa but have no idea where to buy one

However, I've come across a 'Tech' rear shock on the Bosi team page.

So, what do you think, how do these compare to a Showa?

All suggestions/advice welcome.

Kind Regards

A couple of my riding buddies, usually compete on Gassers, which usually ran the Reiger rear shock, both felt that when the newer Gasgas models came with the Ohlins that it was a step back, one of them went to a new 2020 Vertigo and loves the Reiger.  Never heard of the Tech shock but have tried their front forks and love them. I run Ohlins on my 2017 250 2T and my 2017 300 4T, took a few rebuilds to get them where i like them. (changed the compression dampening on the last 1/3rd of travel - stiffer, as i was bottoming too harsh even with the stiffest spring set up high) but i weighed 230 pounds at the time. If i where to do it again i would go for a Reiger (maybe on a TRS).
