Any tips on what to look out for when buying please or words of wisdom on riding and owning one, especially maintenance? jrsunt Posted November 1, 2020 Report Share Posted November 1, 2020 Just the usual stuff really, Headstock bearings can start to feel notchy. The electrics are generally fine and the engine is virtually indestructible. Let it warm up properly then see if it starts easily. rr62 Posted November 1, 2020 Report Share Posted November 1, 2020 Good luck - great bikes and the build quality is phenomenal. Check usual wear & tear as above. And (you would anyway I’m sure) worth checking what the oil looks like both sides - will give you a quick sense of how it’s been maintained. If they aren't regularly cleaned and greased they get rusty and bad leading to needing new bearings and bushes. Other than that... Great bikes...
