My other question is..what do i need to do before starting the bike? Had to be delivered to me due to covid restrictions so just want to make sure i'm doing the right stuff before starting the bike?

Too much oil will result in a lean fuel/air mixture. I've pulled the top end off a very hard used Vertigo (not for failure reasons) and can tell you 30ml is more than enough to keep it running spot on.

How does useing to much oil cause a lean mixture?, does the fuel injection system recalibrate itself to keep within certain parameters, iv never owned a fuel injection bike so dont know much about the system cheers.

You are substituting fuel for oil if your using too much, hence the lean condition, it’s the same for carb fed bikes.

? Thanks God it;s spot on! I really love the fuel injected compared with carbs...much more easy to play with the throttle and very responsive!
