F1-F3 errors and Display issues on 2021 EMs?

I've been really enjoying my Escape over the last few months doing both slow and faster riding.  I have started having a problem or two and wanted to see if other riders had encountered them (I've put the question to my dealer as well)

They can happen and last for a few seconds a minute then it starts working normally.

1.The display shows F1, F2, or F3 instead of battery level. typically only appear while I am on throttle or regen braking.

2. The display fully turns off

I'll keep riding along and eventually the display returns.
Anyone else seen this?

It doesn't have water in the display, does it? Mine picked up a little bit of damp, which started as condensation on the inside of the screen, then went to total non-function, then dried out a bit and the display came back but permanently on 100% whatever the battery state was.

Based on my old and new displays, EM appear to have altered the way the wires come out of the potting resin to try to reduce cracking of the resin and consequent leaks.

I ended up getting the display replaced under warranty.  When I went to replace the old one I found the connector was damaged and loose.  The new display is fine though the length of wire on both is too tight for my liking.  So I think the water / bad connection theory was a good one.

Agreed. An extra inch in the wiring would be good. However, it does go lock-to-lock without pulling on the wire so I suppose they would say it's just right.
