This year's event whilst held on a nice day, and even with a light shower thrown in just to keep down the dust, only managed to attract 20 entries. This is a great pity as several people gave up their weekend in order to lay out the course, prepare paperwork, journey here just to observe and as this is a brilliant piece of land the entry was rather a disappointment.
One tough section was included for the championship runners in order to sort out the top men, unfortunately none of them turned up, so apologies to the riders we did have on the championship route for this one toughie! On a positive note even with the lack of entries we did manage to man all 14 sections, big thanks to all our observers.
