Scotland To Welcome Britain's Best

Dsc 0004Can regining champ Michael Brown bounce back after defeat in Round 3?Britain's best male riders will be making the trip north of the border this weekend for the fourth scoring round of the 2014 RT Keedwell Group ACU British Trials Championship with the Bob MacGregor Trials Academy in East Ayrshire once again playing host to national Trials, having seen visits from the British Ladies and Youths Championships in 2013.

The Academy is Scotland's premier Trials training ground, set up by Scottish Trials legend (but not for his riding!), Iain Shankie to ensure that youths and adults can participate in the sport in a safe and legal environment and are able to receive coaching at all levels.

Under the watchful eye of Clerk of the Course, Sandy Mack, Iain and his team have spent a lot of their own personal time working on the sections for this weekend and, in particular, developing section 12 - the waterfall - which could well be a sting in the tail and catch a few riders out.

Highly praised after last year's Ladies and Youth events, the Academy looks forward to once more welcoming Britain’s top riders and spectators on Sunday morning.

The action kicks off at 9:30am and postcode for SatNav is KA3 4EH. There is a story kicking about incorrectly claiming the championship "heads to Edinburgh". If you head to Edinburgh you'll be circa 70 miles away from where you should be. For map/directions where you should be heading, please see this page.
