Hull Auto Club, Farndale, North Yorks, OPEN 2-lap Charity Trial. Sunday 29th June.

Farndale East-side 2-lap OPEN charity Trial – for The Jack Howden Trophy in aid of the Farndale Village Hall Fund and other Farndale charities.

OPEN, enter on the day, trial for all Adult & Youth solos, no Youth D & E at this venue. This trial also incorporates EYC Southern Area Adult, Adult & Youth A & B Championship round and the EYC Inter Club Team Trial. Good youth C riders will get round this trial but it will not be a C-class championship round.

Because of the Charity aspect of the Trial, this is the only occasion when many land owners allow us to use or cross over their land and allowed gates to be fitted between properties so that the linked farms give 2 laps of 20-25 varied sections with a great ride round of approximately 9 miles, all off road.

If you enjoyed our Farndale trial on 1st June, the format will be very similar, so tell your mates and support this event!

As you may know, Hull Auto always runs 3 routes, Expert, Clubman A and easy Clubman B. Intermediates ride a mixture of Expert and Clubman A sections, following the Clubman A route on the harder expert sections.

Flagged from the Hutton le Hole to Castleton road, down Blakey Bank to Church Houses then to Farndale East. Only use this way into Farndale.

Any volunteers to observe would be appreciated –contact Jim Austermuhle (01751 417455) in good time for planning purposes, some observers with bikes welcome, otherwise we organise transport for observers to near the sections.

Please could observers be at the start field by about 10 am so that we can organise transport to sections where necessary.

Members of the village hall committee will be selling the normal burgers and hot drinks after the event. All observers/helpers will receive a free voucher for the above.
