Waltham Chase Trials MCC were delighted to be invited by The Langrish Motor Cycle Racing Club to hold a Trial at the venue of the infamous Ken Hall Trophy Motocross, as part of the club's celebration of the 50th anniversary of this event.
Even if you are not a Motocross follower it is well worth reading the history of the "Ken Hall" on the Langrish Clubs website http://langrishmx.com/index.html
The Trial is being staged not only to entertain the weekend campers but to introduce some of our "speed event" colleagues to another two-wheel discipline.
The date is Saturday the 27th August and the venue is Manor Farm, Langrish , GU32 1RG.
The gates will be open from 9.30 with a Trial start time of 11.00am.
The event, which has been named The Alan Samson Trophy, in memory of Alan who was actively involved for many years with the Langrish Club and motorcycle sport in general in the local area, will have classes for all solo riders and be run "non-stop".
An entry form for this event can be downloaded from the Waltham Chase MCC website.
Competitors are welcome to camp overnight and can make it a long weekend by attending the Motocross events on the Sunday or Monday, for which spectator charges will apply.
We recommend that you enter in advance for this Trial as the opportunity to ride at this venue is likely to attract a high entry. Please check the Waltham Chase Website to check if day entry is still available before travelling on the 27th.
