Scottish Trials Championships Clarification

sacu logoIt was made apparent at the recent opening round of the Scottish Trials championship (Modern Bike) that not all riders are aware there are now two separate championship series’ being run throughout the year.  For modern bikes there is the ‘Highland Leisure Sport SACU Trials Championship’ and for Classic bikes the ‘SACU Classic Championship supported by BAXI Boilers’

SACU Classic Championship supported by BAXI Boilers

The Classic Championship will be run over 5 rounds with an appetite to build on this for 2017.  The 1st round kicks off on Sunday 17 April 2016 at Glenlomond and will be run by the Dunfermline & DMCC.  Events will be run with 2 routes available ‘A’ route & ‘B’ route based on Twinshock standards.  Events will be open to SACU/ACU licence holders and run as Open Trials.

Sunday 17 April is an ideal opportunity for those entered in the Scottish Pre65 Trial to give their bikes a run out prior to the event; it is also a great opportunity to give all those Twinshock machines a run out and for the riders to enjoy them in a classic trial environment.
