Peterborough TC Autumn Trial

peterborough tcThe Sixth and final trial of the Peterborough trials club championship took place today where a great entry of 65 riders tackled 5 laps of 8 sections at Stibbington Quarry. The sun was out and the conditions were perfect and we hope everyone had a good day.

 

The winner of the trial was Tom Ablewhite riding his Sherco who dropped 0 marks to finish ahead of  Mike Evans who dropped 16 marks. Adam Juffs was best Youth A dropping 21 marks and Martyn Rushbrook was best Intermediate dropping 31 marks.

 

Luke Hough Whelpton and Paul Wareing tied dropping just 7 marks to best on the 50/50 route ahead of Julian Collins on 16 marks. Alfie Ray Turner was best youth on the 50/50 dropping 33 marks.   

 

On the middle route there was a three way tie for top between 3 different class winners all dropping 1 mark in the rocks on section 2. Oliver Wareing was best Twinshock riding his Fantic, Sam Mann was best Clubman on his Aircooled Yamaha and Pete Ablewhite was best over 40 riding a TRS. Other class winners on the middle route were Michael John Lefevre who dropped 9 marks to win the novice and Alfred Alderman who dropped 23 marks to win the Youth C class.

 

On the white route Michael Smalley kept his feet up all day to win from Alan Mansfield who dropped 1 mark and Robin Davis who dropped 2 marks. Tyler Mumford was best youth on the white route and dropped 20 marks.   

 

The conducted route riders had a good day with Anthony Piper Martin riding well with just 1 dab, Christian Piper Martin and new rider Lewis Harvey gaining confidence throughout the day.

 

Thanks to everyone who turned out today and a special thank you to those who helped set out the course Saturday and those that observed on the day. We hope to see you all again on the 29th October at Stibbington for our presentation trial.
