Saturday 28th September saw the 2013 Luscombe Suzuki Leeds British Youth C&D Trials Championship venture north of the border to Scotland for the sixth and final round with the young riders battling it out over the excellent facilities offered at the Bob MacGregor Trials Academy in rural Ayrshire.
In the D Class Small Wheel Henry Stephenson claimed top podium position by a nineteen point margin over second placed Harry Hemingway with Harry Turner, a further four points behind, claiming the remaining podium position.
The D Class Medium Wheel it was Dale Freeman who narrowly took victory by a single point over Elliot Laws with Jacob Smith completing the top three.
Moving up to the C Class Medium Wheel, Charlie Mosley came out winner on the day by four points over a tie between Alice Minta and Ben Dignan who both finished on forty points. With the rider furthest clean deciding the eventual runner up, it was Alice who was to take home second place with young Ben having to settle for third.
Finally, in the C Class Standard, Billy Green totally dominated the competition with single figure scores in each of the three laps giving him a final tally of a mere eight points. Second place went to Daniel Slack some way behind on thirty points with Ben Haycock taking third.
