It was a busy weekend at Scotland’s Bob MacGregor Trials Academy as, alongside Saturday’s youth C&D Championship Round and Sunday’s Youth A&B event, the venue also played host to the final round of the 2013 British Ladies Championship.
It is perhaps unsurprising that the event was dominated by a very much on-form Emma Bristow – Sherco, particularly with main rival Becky Cook – Beta unable to attend. Bristow came out fighting, dropping thirteen on her first lap to the thirty one dropped by Nikita Smith – Gas Gas in second place. The second and third laps saw Bristow continue to improve, dropping nine and just four on her final lap and whilst both Smith and ultimate third place finisher Katy Sunter – Gas Gas also improved their scores as the day progressed neither were able to mount a serious challenge.
In the Girls A Class, Louise Alford – Gas Gas took top honours by a four point margin over Scotland’s own Bronwyn Palmer – Gas Gas.
Over in the Girl’s C Class, fresh from her win the previous day, Alice Minta claimed top spot by four points over Alicia Robertson with Hannah Moore taking the remaining podium position.

A Class Intermediate – Milly Rae
