Round two of the British Women's and Girl's Championship, the Listers Toyota Trial organised by Zona 1 MCC took place last weekend. The weather was dry and cloudy with rain expected, but it never came and with conditions providing plenty of grip, the sections rode fairly easy for the main contenders.
Becky Cook aboard her Top Trial Team Beta UK, started well cleaning the first lap with smooth, careful riding. It was going to be very close at the top and any mistake could prove costly. A quick dab on section seven on the second lap and another on section six on the third lap when a rock become dislodged and her wheel kicked her off line was enough to demote her to second position on the day behind. She finished well to clean the final lap. The final scores were: Emma Bristow, 0, Becky Cook, 2, Katy Sunter, 34.
Becky's next event will be a British Ladies Championship double header with the third and fourth round on the weekend of July 13/14th.
