Barrow and District - Revenge Trial 2013

barrow and districtIt's the time of year when Barrow and District MCC hold one of the best trials of the season, The Revenge Trial. It's always an interesting trial due to the sheer amount of space avaliable for sections, this year was no different.

There were a great mixture of sections, ranging from slick muddy banks to technical steps. This made the event a spectacle for the observers and people that came and watched. Unfortunatly the weather was not with us today as the rain didn't manage to stay away and there was a fair amount of mist on the moors. However even though the weather wasn't the best, the vast majority of riders enjoyed the event and finished with good scores.

Stephen Dixon managed to take the overall win on 16 just edging out Will Brockbank on 19. Nick Shield dominated the Green course winning on 29 by an impressive 16 marks, and last but not least, Anthony Brockbank took the win on the easy course ahead of Trevor Clarke followed closely by the youngster James Postlethwaite.

Hope everyone had a good day and hope to see everyone at our next trial on the 27th October, which is a multiclass event so will feature an easier easy course. More information about the event will be put up shortly.
