Bradford Autowbars Rd 1 Results

bradford and districtBradford ran round 1 of the highly popular Autowbars Beginners series at Manor House Farm on Saturday

 

a super entry of 55 riders tackled the 8 section course, with quite a few new faces and a very healthy youth entry of 20 riders.

 

on the youth Beginners route Alfie Lampkin rode the trial for 1 mark dropped, closely watched by his Dad and Grandad shouting out his famous instructions,  Dominic Horne run him very close in second place on 2 marks with fellow Oset rider Myles Hutchinson on 11 marks in third place

 

Adult Beginner route was won on clean by Neil Wrigglesworth, 2nd place was Steve Bradley on 5 and 3rd was Chris Chew also on 5 marks but only 28 cleans comapred to 31 for Steve.

 

But the ride of the day on the adults course must go to Beth Dunning who after having 2 hours practice on a trials bike on the friday having never been on  a motorbike before, rode the trial for a very creditable score of 25 marks, Dad Jason better be watching his back !!!

 

On the 50/50 course   Ian Capper took the win on most cleans from Megan Holdsworth after both tying on 20 marks dropped

 

The novice route had a 3 way tie for the the win with all 3 going clean, Young Jacob Snowdon took the win on youngest rider with  William Tolson in second and the old man of trials Tom Reynoldson in third.

 

Nect round is 16th November at same venue again (Manor House Farm Glusburn) same start time around 1.00pm ish
