Poachers Pre 65 Trials Club

poachers pre 6554 Riders turned up at South Elkington for the final round of the Club Championship. The 8 sections were tackled 5 times by the riders with no fewer than 4 riders on the Expert route, 1 on the Intermediate route and 2 on the Clubman route all retaining clean sheets, could have given the impression of being set a little on the easy side, but full concentration and only the correct line were vital in cleaning the obstacles.

The Hardest section of the day turned out to be section 3 manned by Martin Green which had a nasty cambered climb between trees on the Expert route and a tricky climb out on the Clubman's.

Just before the start at the briefing, we mentioned the next two events in December being charity trials with two very worthwhile causes, please do your best to attend both events if possible. The 8th of December is at Wright's Farm, North Somercotes and the 27th of December at Benniworth Haven. Also we let you know that over the winter months observers will be rewarded with £10.00 in place of the normal bottle of wine or box of chocolates, just a little reward for helping to make the whole events possible and if anybody would like to be involved as observers just have a chat to us at the start of our next events.
