November 25th was the LL&DC presentation evening for the youth and conducted trial class of 2013. 13 has been proven to be lucky for the club with ever increasing numbers for the E, D and C conducted class.
With 4 different venues for the year all set in scenic valleys of Llangollen, we saw riders from across Wales, Cheshire, Lancashire and Yorkshire attending all events and the presentation evening. The club is committed to set out sections for all abilities aged from 4 using the venues we have for championship rounds varying from woods, streams and hill climbs.
What started out as a fun trial for the children, then turned out to be a full on battle for the championship in all classes. In the white conducted class saw Alistar Edwards and Steffan Jones taking equal 3rd on 48 points, 2Nd was Harry Bentham on 55 and first place going to 4 year old Dylan Hayes on 62. On the intermediate conducted joint 3rd went to Arron Chadwick and Ryan Moore on 41 points, 2nd was Jenson Jones on 59, first place and 2012 white route winner was Alfie Harrison on 70 points. C class on the hard route 3rd place went to Sam Widdowson on 32, 2nd was Dan Jones on 60 and first place went to Ben Rimmer on 69. D class hard route saw joint 3rd place go to the Shepherd Brothers Morgan and Ryan on 47, 2nd place went to Charlie Crossland on 58 points and 1st place was Lewis Hurdsman on 80 points.
