It is ‘as you were’ for the final round of the Yorkshire Centre Trials championship on December 15 due mainly to pregnant sheep!
The Hillsborough switched start venues for the crucial finale in the Centre championship event but livestock movements and the imminent arrival of lambs has brought a change of thinking. Rather than move and unsettle the livestock the trial will revert back to its former well known start area at Ughil, south of Bradfield.
Andy Longden has also appealed for observers who usually get a Christmas gift of a tenner for their services. Andy has stretched the boundaries a little further in as much as if a rider provides an observer he, or she, gets a free entry, and the observer draws £10. Double whammy all the way. Start time is 10.00 am. Youths can compete but on a no-points basis. TSR 22b rules the observing.
