Former World Trials Champion Yrjo Vesterinen heads the entry for Sunday’s National Twin-Shock Championship round in Padiham where hosts Red Rose Classic MCC have been rewarded with an excellent entry of over 50 riders from as far afield as Bournemouth and Stourbridge. The trial will take place at Pendle Hall Farm, off Grove Lane, Padiham, starting at 10am.

“We are very happy with the quality and quantity of entry, and look forward to an excellent day’s trailling,” said secretary Pete Kenyon. "Pendle Hall Farm is an excellent venue, and hopefully the sections we set out will provide a tough, but enjoyable test for all the riders.”

The format will be a minimum of two laps of 20 sections with the classes being for Air Cooled Monos, Historic Spanish, and Twin Shocks (production machines with drum brakes including pre-65’s). All observers will receive the standard Club rate for their services, plus there is a sponsored draw with three prizes of £100, £50 & £25, sponsored by Hofman Precision Balancing Limited.
