The Lanarkshire Club Valente Trial at Dalrigh was won by Gary MacDonald with 8 marks lost. The course comprised 3 laps of 12 sections through streams with fast flowing water from the heavy rain early Sunday morning. The rain eased off after the frst lap and started again just as the trial was finishing. The Clerk of the Course and his assistants had laid out challenging but rideable sections and were complimented on a good trial despite the weather.
