A nice fine day at Post Hill for the seventh Club Championship, this was most welcome as this round also incorporated a round of the Oset Cup. The dry conditions probably suited the small wheel electric bikes as Post Hill is notoriously slippery in wet weather.
John Hillam, making a return to Post Hill after a long absence immediately was back on form and went round the 10 section 4 lap course for only 4 marks lost.
Chris Johnson completed the clubman route losing the same number of marks and he also was well ahead of his rivals.
Mark Chippendale, whilst nursing an injured wrist, had the best result by going clean on the easy route. The wrist was broken a few weeks ago and the pot was removed only recently.
