Pegasus MC & LCC - Arden Trial 10-05-2015

Pegasus MC & LCC made their second visit of 2015 to Castle Bytham for the Arden Trophy Trial. Held over 5 laps of 10 sections in near perfect conditions Tom Ablewhite brushed the opposition aside aboard his standard Sherco with his feet firmly on the footrests to record a perfect zero score. Best Intermediate was Mike Evans, Gas Gas, who dropped a mere 7 marks. Youth A was once again topped by Joe Collins on his CTC Gas Gas. Only 3 riders entered the 50/50 but at the end of the day they were only split by 6 marks with Daniel Ledger coming out on top.

The middle route was won by Olly Wareing, Fantic, whose only slip was a dab on section 4, which spoiled an otherwise perfect scorecard. Top Over 40 rider on the day was Ian Margetts, Ossa, whose score of 5 was just 3 better than Pete Ablewhite, Game Sherco.

The white route had to be decided on the most cleans rule, with Tony Bilton, Montesa, getting the decision over Ian Bruntlett, Yamaha. Both riders had dropped 20 marks but Tony was one better on cleans, 41 to Ian's 40. Michael Smalley again put in another good performance on 31 and this was a single mark better that best Youth Beginner Callum Hedison.
