Shropshire TC held round 6 of the summer championship at the very popular venue of Manor Farm, Milwich last Saturday evening with a total of 28 riders starting in what turned out to be a very warm evening.
In the expert class it was Ben Morris that finished first with only 15 marks lost, 10 marks were lost on section 4 which was sponsored by SML Windows of Stafford and was a mixture of roots, rocks, stream and a
slippery bank exit. Jack Savage was close behind on 19 marks with Graham Jones and Tom Hanks in third and fourth place.
The clubman class saw Shropshire TC member Danny Littlehales take the win on his twin shock showing the others it’s not the bike that wins, close behind Dan was Rob Kelsall leaving Chris Beech from Stoke on Trent in third.
The non-expert class saw Dan’s son Dean Littlehales tie for the win with Fred Savage both on 18 marks lost with the every so trying Baz Salt on 27 marks in third.
The class where we all started that been the beginners class was won by Dave Hodson from Burton on Trent, with Alan Cowley in second. Well done to the both of you.
Thank you to my wife and daughter for observing and Simon Lythgoe, not only does Simon sponsor our trials but when he’s not riding he also picks up a board (what a man). Finally my last thanks go to the land owners, a big thank you to Glyn and his family for making us more than welcome on our first event here.
