Pegasus MC & LCC Autumn Cup Trial

Pegasus MC & LCC made their first visit of the season to Harston for the Autumn Cup Trial. 39 riders competed over 5 laps of 8 sections and when the scores were tallied it was Roman Kyrnyckyj who claimed the main award dropping just 14 marks on the grassy slopes. Next best finisher was top Youth A rider Kieran McDaid on 38. Scores were much tighter on the 50/50 route where winner Ian Margetts dropped just 2 marks but this was only a single dab better than Rob McElnea.

A total of 13 was good enough for Shane Harvey to top the middle route scores, Shane was clean on 7 of the 8 sections with section 8 the only to spoil his scorecard. Ross Mason was best Over 40 rider on 18 just ahead of Mark Awcock having his first ride after having 12 months off due to injury on 21. Ben Butler was best Youth B/C rider and Paul Hedison best Novice.

The more experienced riders were not troubled on the white route with Michael Smalley, Mick Ash and Tony Bilton all returning perfectly clean scorecards. Best Youth Beginner was Sam Arden on 26 ahead of birthday boy Alfred Alderman.
