On Saturday 7th November 11 am start we will be holding the 3nd round of the SMC Classic Bike Championship. ( regs are about ).
Venue is Cox's farm Beckley where 3 laps of 12 sections will be on offer with two routes. This is a quality peice of silverware to get your name on and was presented to the Ixion in the fifties by Norton Motors.
The terrain is farmland with Muddy Slots-Roots-Cambers-streams-Big Hills plus a Graded Hill. There will be no bottomless bogs I promise.
Ixion member Modern machines are welcome but expect an easy time as the sections will air on the timid side as set out for Pre 65 and Twinshock bikes.
A merry band of observers would be most welcome so anybody who would like to volunteer please email me.
