Grantham Pegasus brought their 2108 trials season to a close with their Last Minute Trial at Harston. Held in near ideal conditions 52 riders competed over 5 laps of 8 sections with the main award going the way of Daniel Billam who dropped a total of 34 marks aboard his Beta. Ben Butler and Stuart Walker both dropped 42 marks but Ben clinched the runner up spot by the way of most cleans. Only two competitors on the 50/50 route who were both Youth B/C riders, Jacob Potts and Sam Hill, both put in good rides with Sam dropping just 25 marks.
On the middle route it was Over 40 class riders who came out on top. Tom Collett dropped 13 which was 4 better than Andy Butt on 17. 3rd and 4th places were Novice class riders Callum Hedison and Mark Awcock on scores of 22 and 23 respectively.
On the white route Nick Burton, riding in the Fun class, completed the course for a mere 11 marks on his Fantic. Next best were the top Adult Beginner, Adam Billam and best Pre 65 rider Kev Witting who both finished on 14.
