Dan Thorpe has clocked up his first victory in the popular Edinburgh & District Motor Club Scottish Pre-65 Trial which took place in the Highland town of Kinlochleven over the 3rd and 4th of May 2019. A single dab on the opening day of competition followed by a clean ride on the second day was sufficient to give Thorpe victory over Ben Butterworth by a single point with the 2017 and 2018 winner, Gary Macdonald taking the remaining place on the podium.
