Results from the Hull Auto Club Humberside Trophy Trial held in the great trials land of Farndale, North Yorkshire on sunday 1st September. On form Adam Milner won the trophy after a convincing win over Tom Hick.
We are sorry that it turned out a bit harder than intended for some classes on some sections which resulted in many more retirements than we would have liked.
Although the forecast was good for most of the day, we did get a couple of light isolated showers during the trial, which gave a few minutes of cooling for the riders, but that was nothing to the short burst of rain and hailstones that fell around 1630 when the remaining organisers were starting to pack up! Fortunately, the Sherco Gazebo brought along by Club Chairman Jayne Peace covered the barbecue at that time and the last burgers and tea provided by the landowner were safely consumed under cover!
We would like to thank our valued observers and riders for supporting the event and advise that our next open trial is at Hollins Farm, Rosedale on Sunday 20th October, full details will be posted on the Trials Central Calendar.
