44 riders donned their waterproofs for the 9th round of the Hosrsforth & District MC Simon Green Series at Galloway Pastures on 13th October. Knowing that the only thing more slippy than wet Greenhow grass is the soggy clay just beneath it, the sections were set in the main very steady enabling easy and mid course winners to negotiate them without penalty. The 4 hard course riders faced a stiffer challenge but scores were still sensible and the youngsters on the conducted course seemed to enjoy the muddy conditions. As always a big thanks to all who made the event possible including the riders for turning out in the inclement conditions.
