Wye Valley have organised a training day at the fantastic venue that is Crasswall for the 30th April, with a closed to club trial the following day (1st May).
The aim of the weekend is to introduce those riders (young or old) into the art of riding on rocks such as those found up at Crasswall and to provide an opportunity for those of more experience to fine tune their skills. At present the planned (depending upon demand) ACU trained coaches for the day will be the well-respected Barry Husband, Wessex centre champion Colin Crease and Western Centre Champion Simon Welch. All coaches have a wide variety of experiences at different levels of trials and the coaching game.
The day shall consist of three 2hr sessions through the day with breaks for lunch and snacks. Riders will be grouped according to level of ability / experience in groups of no more than 10 riders per coach.
Crasswell is an ideal venue with a large scope of sections available to test all from youngster starting out on their Beta 50’s to the up and coming A class schoolboys and all levels in between.
This is the first time a training day has been run at Crasswell and it really is an opportunity not to be missed and with the planned trial the following day, a perfect opportunity for you all put into practice the skills you will have learnt the day before.
The following package has been put together:
A full days training (3 sessions)
Entry to the following days trial
Club membership to Wye Valley Auto Club
All of the above is available for the unbelievable price of £35.
Information is also available with regards to good camping facilities near by (with a good pub within walking distance) to make a real weekend of it. The trial is open to riders that are not attending the training day, who would also be made welcome at the identified campsite.
It is important that you respond quickly to secure a place and to provide all concerned to group riders appropriately and find more coaches/marshals where necessary.
