Richard Sadler with support from James Stones ran the Richmond Motor Club Academy, where the pupils did 2 intense days of training mixed with a little bit of fun to keep the youngsters on task. Parents acted as catchers whilst the two MRS Sherco riders set up challenging sections, pointed out the correct lines, modelling where they needed to be and also took time to talk to the parents, resetting handlebars and fettling the bikes to help improve the riders chances.
All in all it was a great couple of days, Richard and his team are now busy analysing the training and planning the next steps for the academy riders. Richmond Motor Club would like to thank, Richard and James for all their voluntary work in supporting the Youth of the club and of course the landowner for allowing them access to use the wonderful venue.
Those taking part were Tom Needham, Oliver Rouse, Beth Watling, James Harrison and Robert Weatherill
