The annual MRS Sherco open day took place at Gouthwaite House Farm, Pateley Bridge on Saturday where world and British trials champion Emma Bristow headed a top class list of national MRS team riders with twenty six riders and distributors providing Trials and Enduro machines for visitors to test ride. Enduro expert Sonya and Wayne Braybrook from Ride Off Road UK, ran enduro machines over a superb marked racing circuit for 9.00 am until 4.30 pm on Saturday.
In the trials section the girls representing MRS were Emma Bristow, Jess Bown, Victoria Payne and Millie Ray and they were joined by the boys - Richard Sadler, James Stones, Ricky Wiggins, Tom Affleck James Fry, Luke Walker, Chris Pearson and new signing Daniel Slack along with all other MRS riders who were demonstrating Sherco machines on a section made especially by Malcolm for Scott practice.
Later in the day the activities moved to the Chequers Hotel at Bishop Thornton for an evening meal, quiz and dealer presentation where a special achievement award was presented to Emma Bristow in recognition of her World and British Championship titles. Fifty MRS Sherco riders attended plus top dealers Active Bikesport, Road & Trials, Trials UK, SPJ Autos, Gary Jenkins Motor Cycles, John Lee Motor Cycles, Tredshop, Paul Smart Motorcycles and A.G. Bikes. The dealer of the year awards were presented to Ros and Andrew Brown of A.G. Bikes and Wayne and Sonya Braybrook from Ride Off Road U.K.
