Michael Brown At Sheffield 2014The long awaited all singing and dancing Vertigo trials bike will be making its ‘World Debut’ at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena on the 3rd January at 7.00 pm. World number four, reigning British Champion and newly signed Vertigo works rider James Dabill, will be giving the new bike its first competitive ride over Martin Lampkin’s gruelling sections. If anyone is in any doubt about the pedigree of this brand new bike, then get along to Sheffield as it is the ultimate test of man and machine. We know James is a brilliant rider who has made it to the Sheffield podium before, but can he do it again on the brand new bike? That’s anybody’s guess but, don’t forget the magic of Sheffield - we’ve had many magical nights over the last twenty years and 2015 might be yet another. Could it be a fairytale night for Vertigo and James Dabill???
More hot news, one of Sheffield’s favourites Takahisa Fujinami is not riding this year due to a recurring injury. Who will be his replacement you may ask? We are waiting for official confirmation from the FIM, so watch this space. The organisers have their own wild card rider in twice British Champion and seasoned Sheffield competitor Michael Brown all lined up and itching to take on the rest.
