The popular Cumberland County MCC Alan Trophy Trial (Round 7 of the S3 Parts National Championship) starts at 10.00am in Newbiggin village, near Brampton, Cumbria, where 2 scenic 'Off-Road' laps will face the riders with Streams, Waterfalls, Dry Rocks and banks being the order of the day. New land will mean many New Sections and the trial will be a good test for all on both Championship and Clubman routes. An additional loop on brand new terrain will provide a interesting facelift to the lap with great natural hazzards for the riders to enjoy.
Dan Thorpe, Ricky Wiggins, Guy Kendrew, John Crinson (2005 Winner), young Richard Sadler, Andy Blackman and Shaun Fox top the entry list with JST GasGas ace Sam Haslam And MRS Sherco's Chris Pearson adding some real spice to the action.
Mick Boam, Dave Clinkard, Phil Disney, Mark Hicken, Darren Wasley and Gary Pears will be battling for over 40 honours. 2 of last year's top 3 in the Clubmen class, locals David Braithwaite and Gary Bingley will be trying to improve on 2010 with Sean Isherwood,Carl Shaw, Phil Scott, Gary Younghusband and Ex Top Road Racer Rob McElnea likely to be in contention.
Refreshments and Toilets will be available at the start. The Blue Bell Inn will also welcome visitors.
