The third round of the Peterborough Motorcycle Club championship took place on Sunday at stibbington quarry. We were expecting a lower turn out due to a local dates clash so we set out the sections to be longer than usual with the aim of being testing without taking too many fives and we hope everyone enjoyed it. The winner of the trial and the expert class was Tom Ablewhite on his Sherco who had a great ride to only drop 5 marks on the hard route, Oliver Wareing was second on 14 marks and Martyn Rushbrook was best Intermediate dropping 28 marks. The Middle route was once again a battle of the over 40’s with Tim Gent coming out on top from Paul Smart who finished with a bruised hand after a fall out with a tree, other riders to stand out on the middle route are Stewart Dickinson who was best Novice, clubman winner was Robin Harris, Michael John Lefevre was best youth B Newcomer and Robert Mycock was best Twinshock on a Bultaco.
The White Route was won overall by Adult rider Bob Wright who dropped 7 marks and beat his riding buddy Alan Jones in to second place, Youth was won by Charlie Hutt riding in one of his first trials.
