With a weekend off last weekend for the WTC/BTC riders JST GGUK No.1 Rider Michael Brown took delivery of his new RAGA300 and was out practicing.
Also with the weekends postponement of Japan WTC Michael chose to ride a trial at Hull yesterday and won, beating Ian Austermule.
Last weekend’s popular Loch Lomond Two Day Trial was closely fought with JST Riders Dan Thorpe and Gary MacDonald both dropping the same over the two days. The win eventually went to Dan having one more clean.
JST GGUK Team rider Ross Danby rode and won the Welsh Llanfyllin trial – The Forest Trophy Trial.
JST GGUK Youth rider Tom Dexter had a convincing win in the A Class at the YMSA Trial at Foxholes near Matlock. Craig Robinson JSTGG won the adult Expert Class.
The countries best Women and girl riders also had 'back to back’ British Championship Trials over the past two weekends. Last weekend they were at the South Shropshire event and JST GG Rider Hannah Styles got her first podium finish with 3rd in her first year as an adult. Well done!
Nikita Smith won her 'girls A’ Class again to make it four wins from four events
This event also saw the Youth C+D Boy classes and it was good to see Thomas Knight in the D Class medium wheel class on his GG Cadet 80 on the podium in 3rd!
The women and girls went to Matlock yesterday for the Mansfield Maun event and Hannah Styles was back to 4th place after her good podium the previous week. Its Hannah’s first year in the Adult class and she is still so young at 18 with her competitors a lot more experienced. She must learn to be patient and keep practicing…the results will come.
Nikita Smith won the girls A Class yet again!
The next round of the popular S3-Parts Clubman National Trials Championship was yesterday up in North Yorkshire / The Alan Trophy Trial and this was won by on form Dan Thorpe just beating his JST GGUK Team mate Sam Haslam by one mark. Its good to see Dan back to form winning both the Loch Lomond Two Day and the Alan…good on ya!
JSTGG Youth B Rider Jack Price continues to impress and he blitzed the Youth Classes overall at yesterdays Bradford & District Motor Club Davy Cup Trial at Thorlby and Skyrakes Farm nr Skipton N Yorkshire.
He was the best Youth rider and only finished one mark behind Expert Adult winner Tony Scarlett!
