Bewdley MCC held the first round of three Beginners Evening Trials at Shatterford nr Kidderminster. Twenty eight riders of all ages sign on, the majority to ride their first competitive event.

With the U16’s only scoring towards the clubs championship, on the two routes set out.

Jamie Newby won the 'A’ route dropping 1 mark, Joel Tett had a great evening loosing 4 marks to finish 2nd and Sam Sault 3rd on 6.

On the 'B’ route Norman Penny had a slack dab to claim victory, with Dean Hall runner-up on 3 and Alex Bethell 3rd on 4

Two young Ladies battled away with Jessica Teague(8) on her first trial dropping 9 on the B route and 7 year old Libby Tett in second place on 26 – Chris, you had a sweat on again!! LOL

Thanks to all for supporting the trial and of course the observers.

The second round will be on the 23rd June at 18.30 at the same venue.
