The 75 KT I am restoring has a threaded boss on the clutch perch for a mirror, but the front brake perch has no provision. I have been looking at all sorts of bikes, and I see some with a mirror, and others with none. What is the factory correct way? Thanks, Mark

The lakes 2 day committee met on Monday 24th September and discussed the foot and mouth situation. It was agreed to leave the decision until the very last moment. The decesion whether or not to run will be taken on Saturday 29th and will be announced on Trials Central. We apologise to anyone who has to make travel arrangements but we want to give the event every chance to run, but the landowners have to be the priority. Thanks to all involved for your patience and understanding Mick Wren

I'm about to apply for a French FFM comp licence and one of the criteria is that you must supply a doctors certificate, after a medical check up,basically to prove your fit to ride, another sign of insurance paranoia I suppose. Is this an ACU requirement yet I don't remember it being one but things might have changed. Our friends at Rhode Island Trials Club have stepped up to put in the huge effort required to host the World Rounds / Wagner Cup for the FIM and AMA this coming July We ask for your support be it by pre-ordering tickets, volunteering, or helping to raise sponsorship funds. The projected cost is about 18x the amount of money the club has in its bank account. That being said, it will be a triumphant return of the sport's best and bravest athletes, it will be in a location with breathtaking terrain, and it will have incredible camping and paddock action. Two of the sections will be ADA accessible. Parking is free. There is also a trials ride available…

I'm taking a trip over to Fishguard next week and wondered if there's anything local happening on the trials scene. I've been threatened with certain death from my other half about taking my bike so it will be in the watching capacity only. Cheers.

. . . I accidentally deleted the thread when trying to juggle all the replies. Does anyone know how to get it back? Ha, not my weekend, is it? Anyway, thanks for all the replies fellahs. I will try Peak Classic again. I was at Dudwood a month or two ago and tried every section more than once, but it was really way too much and I 5ed everything, badly. In future I'll maybe only attempt those that look like a reasonable challenge or treat them as 'gentleman's routes' if possible, tho my nature is to want to complete things properly so I have to fight my tendency to get a bit frustrated at my own perceived "failure". I also think I need to learn to do a …

Hi guys. Appart from the std trailers or vans, what brackets etc have you guys built for your bikes? I just finished (still needs paint and tie down struts) today. I hve been putting the bike on the back but being a relatively new dad, I need the bin for packing space. If you have time, please show me the rigs you are using. Thanks.

Hi guys I know its a Oset but its condition bugged me from the start, it was very scruffy. I held off for a while to let him ride a bit but then I just could not resist. For very little money and a bit of my time, it got a cosmetic overhaul. All I had to buy was a few spray cans and im having some Oset stickers made. Kinda looks like a classic Montesa hey? So what diy pimping have you guys done (not bolt on parts)? Im keen on any novel ideas/tricks that improve your bike, whether its functional or just for looks.
