Check this out! http://www.pistonheads.tv/clip1471 I was there the day that he did this, but didn't catch the action. The stuff in that house is worth squillions - I don't even feel particularly comfortable just walking through the place, let alone riding . . .

I've seen a report on motocrossdigital.com. Todotrial claimed it was testing Bou's bike. And Steve Saunders apparently rode it too. But no more reports? All rather odd - was some wonderful new technology accidently divulged or is there another reason? I think we should be told!

Hi all: I am planning a trip to a conference the Netherlands in late October and would like to include a ride on the continent. I will be travelling into Germany (Baden-Baden area) and possibly Belgium or lower Scandinavian countries also. Any ideas for finding a local club, renting/borrowing a bike and riding a local club trial? Thanks for the help! Rod Jackson

ok guys just a fun thing for you here. Been looking through some old Junior Kickstart episodes and was wondering what happend to a few ex stars of the show. Some such as Colley, Lampkin, Jarvis etc are fairly obvious and maybe even Phil Disney, Woody Hole, Rob Sartin and Dan Hemingway. Going to throw a few names in here and see what response we get. Ian Needham Luke Wood Wayne Holdsworth Andy Huddleston Lee Sargent Gareth Thomas Chris Hannant David Lloyd Darren Snell Colin Crease Phillip Frizzell Lee Comelio Mike Roberts Adam Norris Russel Brass Any help would be great. No doubt a few names may even present on this forum.

Hey all, When installing my throttle back on the other day I noticed that the bolt just kept tightening with very little force. After a few more turns I noticed that the lower bar clamp was actually separating from the upper portion of the clamp. After taking it all apart and inspecting it looks like the bolt has pulled the nut through the plastic and I've ruined the lower portion of the clamp. You cannot buy only the lower portion of the clamp so I've had to use my spare, just wondering if anyone has ran across the same issue? Bike is the Beta EVO 2010 with OE factory bars. Regards,

Evening all, Does anyone know of any Podcasts that are Trial bike related? I listen to a few Podcasts about Olympic Weightlifting which I find really helps to motivate me, and I've learned so much from them. I thought that if there was one which had a focus on Trials I would love to know about it. Thanks, Chris.

I'm new to trials and am looking at two used bikes: 2005 Montesa Corta 4RT and a 2011 GasGas 250TXT. Asking price for both is the same - the Montesa appears to be almost mint (orig owner), while the GasGas is scratched up but in excellent shape. I don't care about aesthetics that much, except for the resale value and, yeh, it's kind of nice to put my own dents in a bike. Also, I'm not sure if parts availability will be significantly different between the two. Thank you!! in advance for any ideas and suggestions. I've done some research on-line but haven't found anything that deals with my specific options.

G'day all, I've currently got myself a set of the Medium compound Renthal trials grips and curiosity has got me pondering what I'm potentially missing out on with the 2 other compounds. Has anyone used any 2 or all 3 of them and can comment on the differences between them? Feeling, impact resistance, wear and tear? Bonus question: For a new riders would a softer grip be better to reduce impacts from bad form?

Bought some of this oil from splat shop in thinking it would be a decent oil for my beta 2015 factory , it says 100% synthetic is this the same as fully synthetic ??? as beta told me to ideally use a semi synthetic so I’m confused now as want to keep the bike running well do any of you guys use this and is it ok ? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, Hoping you could all help with a bit of technique. recently started practicing jap japs & double blips but I’m struggling to get a grasp of the timing! I have watched most of the videos I can find and I have a good grasp of what I should be doing. Is practicing these techniques easier on medium sized objects or small stuff? with the double blip I feel I’m going to quick into it without using the clutch? Should I be feathering the clutch on the run up to slow down? Is there any other excersise I can do to get better at timing/de-weighting? thanks for your help in advance p.s does anyone know where there’s some talent for sale?

I have just read the four suspension articles that appeared on this site a while ago. I'd forgotten about them at the time and only just found them again. They are great but seem to finish before the really interesting bit starts. Springs are covered in great detail but dampers are not covered. Does anyone know who wrote the articles? I'd love to find out if there are still more to come or if I'm going to be left wanting.

Well London have done it and won the Olympics. How about lobbying the London committee for a trial to be added to the competitions. If I understand the Olympics the organisering country can apply to have new sports added. With the UK being the home of trials and having a multiple world champion in it midst surely it would be concidered. This post ties in with the various other post looking for recognision of Mr Lampin at things like the BBC sport personality. If a UK rider were to win an Olympic medal (Doug may to out of the running by 2012) surely the sport would get the recognision it deserves. Does anyone have any contacts on the London bid committee?

sorry if this has already been covered, but I've been away!! Saw a re-run of last weeks "Vroom Vroom" program, "Skys" attempt to emulate the success of Top Gear etc. Anyway they had a small piece on trials riding, the usual half hearted, unresearched effort but with Dougie roped in and doing his best to explain the sport and help some dizzy-ass woman (no disrespect to ANY lady riders intended, but she was annoying) having a go at a "section". Anyway was reasonably ok as it started off by showing some of the extreme world round stuff etc but went down hill rapidy as the narrator described that there were approx 30 clubs in the UK(!?), the cost of riding a trial is
