Hi! I'm an Italian guy, and I casually found this fantastic forum First of all I apologize for my poor language skill, I'm not very good After this dutiful introduction I want to thank all those who want to teach new skills about trial. I've had a Fantic Trial 125 (1980) and a two stroke Suzuki Rm 250 MY8. I sold my Suzu (It was too powerful for extreme riding) and now I I would like to start practicing trial. My budget is very restricted, between 1500-2000 €. I did some research and I think they are possible alternatives: _Gas gas txt 2001 (not the Pro version) _Montesa 315r (>2001, with shining Showa fork ) _Beta Rev (2001-2007?) _Sherco 2.9 (problem …

Hi all... I am a short circuit racer over in this land of ours but I've had a trials bike about me for a few years now. Thought I'd sign up to see where everyone else goes! I sometimes feel like I'm the only one. Where to go I wonder??

Howdo everyone Finally got myself a new bike after a 14 year break (last rode when I was 10) Picked up a GG TXT 300 (I know it's the perfect beginner bike...) One of my mates has just got tx250as well, so we're looking for places to fall off. No doubt I'll be pestering all of you with stupid questions and finishing sentences with annoying brackets (it's just something I can't stop) Cheers!

Hi everyone, I watched a dads and lads trial in Northyorkshire last year and thought it looked great fun and thought it would be just the ticket for my two young lads. We've managed to get a couple of shercos to get us going and they seem to be really enjoying it. My aim in 2009 is to learn about the "trials scene" up here in gods country and join the Richmond club so my boys can be intriduced gently into having more fun in the great out doors. I would welcome any guidence on trials as I'm very green! Cheers Barnes

I am new to trials motorcycles, but I have extensive experience in bicycle trials, bmx, park, street, dirtjumping, downhill mtb, motocross, and singletrack dirtbike riding. It is really exciting to finally getting into trials for seriously, because it is a mixture of all of my riding techniques. I own a 1998 Beta Techno 250 and live in Boulder Colorado. Does anyone want to ride?

Hello; Been off my bike for a coupla years - ow! my knees - my back ! Was up at the Scottish and bought a new pair of Hebo's last year. Had to break them in.... Anyway, the auld Pinkie still runs but I've had a senior moment. I can't remember what the bloody mix is ! I thought 25:1 My mate reckons it's something daft like 30'ish :1 elsewhere on the 'net I've seen 50:1 mentioned. But the chainsaw runs 50:1 and I reckoned the Yam engine would need a damn sight more lubing than a chainsaw ! I don't remember ever using my chainsaw mix......So here I am. One thing is fer sure : I'm running too lean at 25:1 Whit a reek ! Mind you the pinky still runs fi…

Just wanted to take a moment and say "Hey" and introduce myself. I'm 28 year old Devin Byerley, a ME tech at Xerox in Oregon, and a n00b to moto-trials. I have a Monty Mod trials bicycle that I have been thoroughly enjoying and just picked up a 1986 Yamy TY350. I grew up on a TY250 dual rear shocker and the 350 will be my first monoshock moto-trials bike. Glad to be here!! Devin

Hi, I am new to trials and live in Darlington but have recently started going to Dalton woods and Charltons. Anyone nearby fancy travelling up? Sundays and Wednesday's mainly, I would like to get to a level where I can compete and think it would help to watch and train with others. Thanks!
