Hello everyone, I am a 52 year old (but still 18 in my mind), I own and run a hotel on a nature reserve in Southern Spain, I have an adventure license so also operate a quad tour company and multi activities in the area (kayaking, walking, paracending etc etc) I have just purchased a 280 Gasgas (I have not owned a trials bike for 20 odd years), I have bought it because there are some great tracks that I use for the quad tours and some days I can use the gas gas for guiding instead. I purchased the Gasgas as a non runner, have now got it running but have a few small problems which I have mentioned elsewhere on the site. Any interesting info on the 280 would be appreciat…

Hello all, I am trying to locate Ken Sedgley a well known trials rider. Ken and myself were apprentices together at Birmetals Ltd in the 1950's. I am trying to organise a re-union of ex Birmetals apprentices and as such would like to contact Ken if possible. Can anyone help please?

Hello Everyone, I am getting a bug for a Trials bike. I have ridden off-road bikes all my (40 years) life and would like to try something new. I have a line on a 2000 Gas Gas TXT 321 and would like to know if this is a good start. I weigh 185 pounds, 6'2" and am an A/B level off-road rider. Any opinions would be appreciated. I know this is a good bike - the 321 part I am not sure about. What do you think? Thanks.

Hi all, my name is Duncan, and I’m a trialaholic. ! just getting back into the sport after a 40 year gap ? bought myself a 2018 vertigo January just gone. Joined a few clubs (Guisborough, Scarborough and Darlington) and been out practicing just about every weekend I can. although the bikes are completely different to the old twinshock I used to ride back in the day, I’m having so much fun, it seems to have taken over my life. It’s so addictive ! even bike maintenance I enjoy (just as much as the riding) anyway, I’ve just got my ACU licence through the post, so after 5 months of practicing, I’m going to enter a few local trials and see how I get o…

  11. After about a 30 year hiatus, I am getting back into Trials. Things sure have changed since I used to compete back in the early 80's. I am afraid I may be a bit long in the tooth for to learn the new style of riding. However, I hope to compete in vintage events in the Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee area. At the moment I am rebuilding a basket case Kawasaki KT 250 which was given to me. Years ago I started on Yamaha TY's then switched to Bultaco Sherpa-T's. I had the opportunity to do a bit of riding in Ireland and Cornwall year's past. Looking forward to participating in the forum.

Hi everyone, I'm new and looking to get into trials, at the moment we are just prepping my friends 2004 Scorpa for practicing and hopefully I can use it to learn how to ride them and will be looking at purchasing a bike soon when im confident enough. Fed up with mountain bikes now and want to upgrade to a motor. Will be using the forums alot to pick up information on best riding locations and also about the bikes. Thanks Darren

Good day, I'm new to this site, so an intro is needed....... I've never ridden observed trials, I have poor balance. I don't normally ride in the dirt. I have a couple of older Trials bikes. A Bultaco M80, a Montesa Cota 250 ~ 1975 and a OSSA MAR that is in a real bad way and may not be ridden again. I don't have much 2 stroke knowledge. Change the plug, got gas... won't start, I'm lost. I'm giving the Montesa to my son. Riding with him might help my balance ;^) As such, my participation on the forum may be one sided. I have been riding for 40+ years, but as I said, not much in the dirt. I live in the Okanagan valley, in the lower central of BC, Canada
