I've got a 2002 Beta 250, just got it had a 2002 Sherco 290 before, got rid because it was more like a scrambler, couldnt master the throttle on it, it was all or nothing with it! any tips appreciated, Cheers Steve

Howdy yall! Just saying hello. Having ridden road bikes for 35 years and had a short but furious foray into road racing I'm now posting on the website of what I'm finding to be a completely addictive motorsport! Having wrestled with a Sherco 320 as my first trials bike last Summer, (mistake number 1!) I've just bought what everyone says is a more gentlemanly 250 Evo. Time will tell. I've searched these pages and found a wealth of info and thought it was about time I registered. I intend to attempt to hone my near non-existant skills this Spring and Summer and am looking for all you lot to help me. I'll keep scouring the forums for tips and advice and will no doubt post …

Been teaching my son to ride, starting on an OSET Spyder 16, and then a TXT 50 Boy, and now a TXT 80 Cadet. I used to following him in the hills here in Summerland, B.C., Canada on my GG EC300. I now have a 2008 TXT 300 Pro for my aging and "bigger" body. It's been a blast learning the basics; slower is more fun. Keen on linking up with others here in the sunny Okanagan. Cheers. Dale.

Hi All, New here, this is my first time posting on here. I was searching for a Vintage Trials Forum and found you folks. Looking forward to participating. I am 66 years old, retired and in the process of.... I don't know if I would call it restoring, but I am cleaning up, painting, replacing tires, new decals etc. on my 1974 Suzuki RL250. I am the original and only owner of this bike. I never really rode trials but for the first 10 years I had this I did a lot of woods and trail riding, and as my family grew I sort of put it on the back burner for a while. When I wore out my first set of tires I replaced them with full blown knobbies, replaced the thin seat for so…

Hello from the upper peninsula of michigan.Have been riding offroad since 1975 (1st bike was a ty250 and had no idea it was a trials bike)Have raced mx and a lot of enduros and scrambles with some ice racing and flat track in there.I live to ride for real.I took a trip down to Missouri this spring and picked up my 1st modern trials bike,a 2015 GG 300 pro. With a bike like this the only excuse I have for poor performance is me.I have done 2 meets in wota (Wisconsin observed trials association)in intermediate and found my trials skill lack pretty bad.I managed to finish with 2 men behind me in my 2cd trials meet but have a lot to learn.I figure I will never be more than a in…

Hi all, a few mates of mine ride trials and have been badgering me to have a go, so I bit the bullet and went along and had a go and loved it! A week later I joined a club, got my acu license and bought a bike! I haven’t spent a fortune just in case I decide I don’t want to do it(can’t see that happening) so I might be asking a few questions as I pick it up if you all don’t mind, I don’t want to be annoying asking stupid questions. I’ll try and put a picture up of my 20 year old beta(be gentle on her) and let you know how my journey goes! cheers, Martin.

Hello to everyone, I'm Rob, 34 yrs young, and just bought myself an 05 Gas Gas 280 about 2 months ago. I Had a Scorpa 250 about 6 years ago but not for long so i'm only really starting to learn to ride trials. I live in Darlington in North East England and ride at the trials club just outside Croft nr Darlington. Its a bit muddy at this time of year and with half of the riding area being on a big island in the middle of the river Tees its a bit dodgey getting over to it when the rivers in flood, but heres looking forward to the summer. Thats about it really, excellent forum by the way, enjoying reading stuff on here Cheers, Rob.

Hello all. Ive been lurking this forum for a while. Im seriously thinking about getting into trials for the first time at the age of 45. I raced MX for 10 years many years ago. I competed in over 500 races and won @200 overall's. Over that time I started on 100cc 2 strokes and worked up till I was on 500cc 2 strokes. A broken back and wrecked left knee ended my racing career at 22. But during that time I got to know many trials riders while in school and a few as I got older. I attended many events, but have been away from them for a while. This year I plan on getting out to spectate at some events here in New England. Just to see how things now go and get a better idea…
