Hi All , Just to introduce myself , ex. Greeves Comp Shop , and rebuilding my first Greeeves for 25 years . Bought an Anglian in several boxes and am remembering my way round it . Can' ride it though , arthritis and cancer get in the way but I enjoy working on it . Chris Goodfellow

Hi guys and gals, I am dropping a line to introduce myself, and ask for help. I have come into ownership of a Montesa Cota, (well most of it). I am interested in taking up vintage trials events in my local area,(Wye valley area) and I'm in need of info and parts, I believe I have a Montesa Cota 200/175 frame and engine numbers begin 29M, I have been told this is an 86 model???? I am missing seat/tank unit, and in need of a gasket set. Do other models of seat/tank unit fit? Are the gasket sets of the 124-247 units universal? If not can anyone point me in the direction of where I may be able to obtain these parts? Cheers Franc.

Hi there im james from sheffield im 22 - i started riding trials when i was 14 back then i had a scorpa easy 250 and enjoyed it very much. I then stopped doing trials when i was about 15 and left it at that. I passed my full motorcycle test at 17 and had a fair few motorcycles and currently own a kawasaki ZR7 and a yamaha fazer 600. hi - just signed up. Thought I'd say hello. I live in NI, have 2 Bultacos (250 Sherpa's) - neither in great shape! I`ve been working/restoring one which is not far off completion. Cheers for now anyhow.

Hello to u all. With knees that not really like mx and missing some enduro skills started doing trial. We are pretty serious (my girlfriend is also in it) We are from the Netherlands. I hope to try to come as far that is possible for me. We practice once or twice a week and soon I have my first contest. Being stubborn ofcourse not listened that good to other people what bike we should buy. So now whe have a shed full. My girlfriend ended on a 125cc Beta Evo and I ended in a 300cc Vertigo Combat.

Will evo forks fit on a Rev 3 (specifically 02) Are forks from other manufacturers transferable like mountain bikes does any one know? Many thanks

I have just purchased a Bultaco Sherpa T 250 with a view to dabbling in twinshock trials. Never really had a two stroke off-roader before - I'm more into brit bikes (A10 & 6T), but I've always liked the trials scene and have attended a few local events as a spectator - in fact the first one I went to a few years back had Sammy Miller as one of the course stewards (scary). Love the content of the various Trials Central forums, it's like having an extra workshop manual in your toolbox!

Hi, just joined. about 30 years after watching my dad compete every weekend have just bought myself an early Gas Gas, joined a local club and done my first practise day. got some questions on the Gas gas but will post them in a different section on this forum. Phil

Ride for about 7 hours in Soviet city Moskva, USSR. My toy is Gas gas txt300 2010 with few hours. My frustration how much give it impulse on low revs! Idle is about 2500 rpm, is it normal? May I damage the engine when I moved on the street on 4th-5th gear to the riding area? My method of moving, 3-4 sec of gas and permanently using clutch for lower revs. Distance is about 5-6 km. Oil gro 2t mixed 1:80. But this is fantastic bike! I have husky 450SM also. Thanks to higher forces and moto-engineering who's give us so light machines!

Just got my first trials bike today. It is a 2000 montesa that is a little rough but I will try to find fixes on this site. If you live near OKC, OK let me know and I would like to learn. I am 46 and tried to ride today in back yard and of course my wife was laughing and said I should have bought a tricycle. Help me out if you would like a new riding buddy.
