Hello. New to trials at age 47. Have been riding off road all of my life. Attended a vintage event in Aonia, Georgia last year and got bitten by the trials bug. Soon after attending that event I purchased 2 model 92 sherpa ts. I have competed in three events so far and love it. Looking forward to learning my way around this site. Tripp

Been lurking for a while and thought it was time to sign up. Bought a trials bike (2005 GasGas 250) two and a half years ago and enjoyed riding trials ever since; road bike use went from 15000 kilometers per year to 5000... Three weeks ago I traded my second bike (Ossa TR280i) for a new 2015 Ossa TR250i. Will post a pic in the Ossa forum.

Hello My names dan but everyone calls me dannymagic or magic, I'm 27 from Rotherham in South Yokshire, I ride a 1995 Yamaha TYZ on an M plate with the Barnsley Trial club. I've not ridden trials for about 10 years as I was concentrating on enduro but my Nephew has recently been bought a TY80 and a PW50 (spoilt I know ) so I bought a cheap bike to start riding with him and I've found I love it more than I ever did when I was a lad doing it, I used to be far too busy trying to ride my Majesty 200 or my Montesa 311 like a WR250 So the Yam is up for sale and I'm going to get something a little newer and see how I get on. Hi all I'm new to the forum ive been into motor bikes for 35 years and now just ride for fun ive had all sorts of bikes, road bikes, motocross and trials bikes, last month me and my 17 year old son had our pride and joy 250 mx bikes stolen from our shed in the garden but ive scraped the money together and bought a couple of sherco 250 trials bikes mine is an 04 and my sons bike is an 01 my daughter also has a 08 250 beta rev 3 cheers Andy

Hello everybody, l've just got my self a Fantic 307. which was going well ..However today l've lost the use of the clutch some thing in side the engine has stopped working.. The cable is all ok, the small lever is moving up & down which is connected to the back of the engine....... HELP PLEASE Engine runs well . But does have a small clicking noise coming from the front sproket area(my be connected in some way ?) look forward in any surgestions,, Any webb sites which may help Thanks

Hi I am new to the tc website, I am looking for information and photos of Mr Miller in the 1981 82 period on the 320 cc aprilia hiro he was developing reg AEL 362Y I am in the process of restoring the bike. I do know that pics of Sammy on the bike did appear in the TMX at the time riding in time trials in north somerset and Wells clubs.

Good morning all. I'm a "newbie" to this site - I live in Tanfield which is a village in County Durham. I have been a motorcyclist since passing my test in 1963 and have had a bike of one sort or another on the road ever since. A 1962 Triumph Tiger Cub has recently been added to my stable. Here's a shot :- Cub I am looking forward to using it as much as possible and am exploring local green lanes and bye ways whenever I can. Martyn

Hey Guys, Just figured I'd stop in here and say hello before diving off into the mechanical and technique topics. Some places get all fussy about that sort of thing. I am a long time mx rider who just stumbled upon a 2000 Gas Gas 280. I've always wanted to try one and this one fell in my lap. It needs some work. I'll be looking for parts soon. I'm going to try to fit a 2002 mid pipe on the exhaust. I found one cheap and the guy will take it back if I can't make it work. I'm in Alabama if there are any other trials guys around here. I got it all cleaned up yesterday. I'm going to have to replace both carb boots, intake and exhaust. They are dry rotted. The…

Rode 95 350 GG from new,04 Raga from new and as of last Thursday a 12 300 Raga.Have not rode trials in a bit but ride challenging trails.I think next year I am going to get back into the events and see what I can do in the old farts class.

Hello - just found this excellent forum. Have a pre 65 Matchless and Rickman Metisse in the garage. Done a little enduro with a KTM and 25 years of road riding. Looking for advice on best (gentle) events to consider and ideally like-minded enthusiast based in London / Hampshire with whom might share transport etc...riding either bike 100 plus miles to an event does not strike me as too clever... Fantastically keen but little idea where to start - open to ideas.... Jonathan

My son rode trials for years............. A 250 Sherpa and a TL125... Bikes have changed since then......

Apologies for getting carried away in desperation and posting my Aprilia woes before introducing myself. Learnt to ride on a TY80 20 years ago and wanted another trials ever since so off I go to buy an Aprilia TXR311 for what seemed a good price. Guess what? it has already proved to be the most frustrating bike I have ever owned and I have had a few. Very pleased to find this site and forum and just hope people more knowledgeable than me are willing to help! Cheers,
