Hello. New to trials at age 47. Have been riding off road all of my life. Attended a vintage event in Aonia, Georgia last year and got bitten by the trials bug. Soon after attending that event I purchased 2 model 92 sherpa ts. I have competed in three events so far and love it. Looking forward to learning my way around this site. Tripp

Hello, I am new to both the forum and trials (having been to see a few recently). I have purchased a 2004 Beta 200 as a starter bike and have one little (silly?) problem. The front disc cover was not over the disc so I unbolted it where it attaches at the top and have realigned it. However it looks to me as if it should attach to the bottom of the fork leg as there is a hole on the cover for something to go through. The question is how does it attach to the bottom of the fork leg? Thanks. Bryce

Hi all, Harv's here! Was well into Trials as a youngster, but sold my bike in my early teens (was a TY 175 minter). 30 now and picked up a 2001 Montesa Cota with the view to get back into things. Not been out to many time yet as I only got the bike couple months ago, but absolutely loving it again. Anyways, hoping to get involved more in the forum, so will hopefully see you around! H

Hi I'm new at trials and I've gathered some money to buy a trials motorcycle. But I can't find a shop in my country that actually owns them or can be ordered. So, I'm here to ask you if you could be so kind and gather some info about that. I want a 50cc bike with automatic gears, just for the start. I'm from Croatia, and my country is poor when it comes to that kind of culture, so I want 'to start' a new culture in my city, or even a country. Thank for your time and I'm hoping for your response.

Hi All, I am new here and new to trials. I recently purchased a beater 1974 ty250 that I am starting to go through. I have 3 other bikes, Husky FE 350s, BSA B50 MX and a BMW r75/5. I have a bad habit of slowing down and falling over. I figured working on my balance is a good idea, a good excuse to buy another bike anyway. 25 years ago I was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition like MS and I was told I had a wheelchair in my future. I have been working hard to prove the docs wrong ever since.

It's in a bit of a state and is in bits but I am very happy to see the old girl again, but I'm going to need some advice and so here I am. Hello fellow forum goers. Been looking and learning here for some time and what a great site it is, so thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge and experience. I am new to trials and have yet to ride in one, but the time is drawing near as the TY250A that's been languishing in the shed is nearly ready for action. It's a roughy but will be a work in (modification) progress. Sorry I don't have a photo on my computer to post right now. It is good to be part of the trials central community at last.

Hi, My name is Tim. I live in Los Angeles. I just bought my first bike since buying my 1975 Kawasaki MC-1 90, when I was 14 (I got into cars since). I'm 64 now. I just bought a mint 400 original-mile 1987 Honda TLR200. It just arrived. Waiting for helmet in the post and I'll be riding again. After waiting 60-years, what's a few more days? lol. Exciting!

Just picked up an 88 303. Plan on riding it as a volunter checker @ a local club. It needs some TLC, but that's the fun.

Have issue with the set up of the clutch arm. Is there a process to line it up properly.

Hi everyone, I'm new here from southwestern Ontario, Canada! I found the site as I've been restoring a Bultaco M49 Sherpa T that was left to me by my late Uncle I've done many restorations on other things (tractors, lawn equipment, radios and arcade equipment to name a few) but this is my first bike project. I have been given a lot of good information from Facebook groups but I always enjoy making a forum thread so I plan to document my project here, hopefully in the future my info may help someone else 😊. Well I am finally done round 1. The Montesa is back together and running. I tore it down to the frame, painted and rebuilt it. New rear shocks, tires, seat and 1 new lower fork. It took me 1.5 weeks to get the forks off and now I can rebuild the front end in 30 minutes. Fun and a lot of learning. I still need HELP! Front forks are rebuilt but I have parts missing. 1 fork was seized - it was missing the lower fork piston bushing. I had to get one machined and then honed down to fit. It works amazing now BUT this fork is 1.5" shorter than the other. The shock I did not rebuild it missing something in the top half of the fork that stops the piston. Expla…
