Hi, I'm returning to the sport after many years (another mid-life crisis, maybe!) and I'm trying to reach some like-minded, as well as like-mounted, folks in central Bulgaria. (Enduro & motocross bikes are the most popular) Hopefully have a social scene, get out in the fantastic countryside here, as well as lay out some sections for some competition... well, at least to test ourselves a bit!

Hello, I’ve just bought a TRS having not done any trials for 7 years, previously having had a Beta a gas gas and then a montesa. I’m well over 50 now and I was never that great but have the luxury of living on a farm where I can practise alongside my son in law. I’ve been biking for years on various road bikes, trackday bikes, Enduro bikes and still have a 1098s for the summer. Love MotoGP and ride to Le Mans and Silverstone every year. Looking forward to good trials advise and banter. Cheers

well after reaching my mid forties i thought it was about time to put my feet up (excuse the pun) and have another go at trials after a 20 year absence so i bought myself a Gas Gas 250 two years ago (a mid life crisis 250 as my wife calls it ) with the intention doing a few local events, but like all the best laid plans the banana skin was just round the corner i became a father again so all the free time i thought i was going to fill with the trials bike just disappeared so here i am two years later my youngest is up and about ...kind off and iv'e now been given the green light to get back out again .....so im looking some easy local trials or practice areas just…

Just a Quickie to say hello. I'm returning to having a bike after a lay off (marriage young children etc, etc) I started at the age of 7 racing schoolboy grasstrack - moved onto motor x then a spot of road racing in the superstock 400's. As you can see, there isnt any trials history in amongst that list. I have just bought myself a nice clean txt250(03) and hoping to do a club trial next month. From what i understand Trialing is a very family friendly sport, and i'm sure my 4 and 5 year old daughters are going to love watching there Dad make a fool of himself in the mud! if they like it, i'm very interested in the mini electric bikes now available?? cheers for now.

Hi all, I'm a newbe , I live in Brittay France, I'm 66 years old, and thinking of taking up trialing again after lay off of 35 years, I had a freak accident while doing a trial in at Lewes quary near Briton sussex, when my throttle jammed open and I fell 150 feet into the quary, as you can imagine this some what put me off the sport, but I now feel ready to try again and have the land to practice on . so I would like some help to choose a cheapish bike, to try to start learing again, nothing to big, as im only 5ft4" and 10stone , so if there is anyone out there that could help me I would be greatly appreciated. oh yes and I'm a forum virgin so be kind to me

I have just returned to the sport after a short 25 year break!! Glad modern bikes are lighter and more powerful as I am about five stone heavier now than when I last competed, I also have more titanium in my right hip than you get on a factory replica. I have spent the winter months completely rebuilding a montesa 314 and it should be ready to use very soon. Looking to join a local club soon and get down to some serious practice.

Hey guys, Just about to take delivery of a Beta EVO after 6 years out of the sport, cant wait to get back into it. I've only been in the South Gloucestershire area (Thornbury near Bristol) for a few years and don't currently know of any other riders / practice spots in my area. Hoping to enter a few trials over the summer but need some practice and fitness first! If anybody in the area wants a riding buddy let me know!

  15. Hello everyone! I saw the "introduce yourself" forum here and thought i would say hello Ive been riding mx and enduro since the age of 8 and have always been interested in trials. I started watching some trials videos from the blokes down under in Australia about a year ago (great videos by the way) and really started dreaming. For years i have suffered from horrible technical riding skills in slower technical terrain. I always blamed it on the fact that i have 29 inch legs (I'm short) and can't touch the ground most times on my KTM 300. Someone told me that all the best enduro riders are former trials champions! So here i am! Ready to learn and be humbled by a…

  18. Hello! Name's Justin, I'm from Sacramento, CA. USA. Got a bit of the quarantine blues, and I saw a 2000 Beta 270 on-line, and figured "well that's not the dumbest thing I've ever done" It's an older bike, but it was a great deal and she runs great! Just needs a rear fender and looks like the fork seals (inverted forks) are leaking a bit, which I'm pretty sure is leaking on the front brakes (they aren't as grabby as I imagined). I've been riding trails for about 15 years on a 2003 DRZ250, but that doesn't hold be back from keeping up (or passing) the big bikes. I used to compete in bike trials, downhill, and XC way back in college. Looki…
