March 13, 200422 yr They wear them most in dry conditions Gav, following other riders round the loop kicks up a lot of dust, often the minder and other team riders go behind so they eat the dust not the main man. Doug, often gets nose bleeds, when he was over here early nineties, for no reason his nose would just start bleeding, and I have seen it happen often since then. Edited March 13, 200422 yr by ishy
March 25, 200422 yr He wore goggles on the Sunday 2002 Duluth event, it was super cold, fugigas was sporting a pair also, will send Andy the photos when I find them.
March 30, 200422 yr I know someone who had a operation to stop their nosebleeds. He used to get a nose bleed once almost every week.
