just brought a sherco 290 and have read lot of different advise oil ratios, i have just been down to local mx shop (no trials shops where i live) and they have sold me putoline mx7 100% fully synthetic 2 stroke oil.

is this any good and what shold the correct ratio be for a beginner?

    i have a 290 sherco,and i use ipone fully sinthetic oil,i put 80 ml to 5 lts of petrol,shell optimax.i used the same in my 04 also.NOT ONE PROBLEM WHAT SO EVER.hope this helps you on your way .BIG BEN.
