Hi,

quick intro:

Bought a TY 175 back in early 80s. Played with it and fell off a lot for a few years.

Then got heavily into building and sailing classic sailing dinghies, which I still am, see: http://www.cvrda.org/

But with two teenage boys in the family it seemed like a good idea to go pull the TY out of the back of my brothers barn and get it going again. That got me thinking....and looking at ebay....so when a knackered nonrunning Cota 247 came up, I bid and suddenly had a new project.

Havn't rebuilt a bike in 15 years so rather rusty (last two rebuilds were a Guzzi and a Ducati).

But Cota is coming along....and my riding of TY is slowly getting together....and boys starting to get bit of a buzz and realise there is more to it than just flogging around the field.
