Pre-65 Fuel.

Featured Replies

A close friend has a BSA C15 (roadster) and a Triumph Tiger Cub (trials) that have been garaged for a little while and intends to dig them out soon, and i'm thinking on getting my first Pre-65 (BSA B40 ???), question is, now that 4-star petrol is no longer available ! What do you use/recommend ?

Thanks.

You can still get 4 star petrol, there is a website which tells you all the locations, which i have forgot. I will post it when i remember.

Hi

Dont know if its any help as i've never been across the sea to Ireland. But Halfords say they stock this addative at ALL their branches. Every one i've been in does but again thats in England. I assume Halfords do have branches in Ireland ? if not then stick with Big Johns idea.

I've just started using it myself and no problems so far either.

Good luck.

I have been running old bikes ('36-'64) for almost 20 years with never a tank of leaded fuel.

I use Marvel Mystery Oil as a top lube.

Works great...smells great.

Even on the 'later' bikes with bronze seats.
